Kitty's publishing experience goes back to 1990 when she edited a book for Random House, then typeset the next five editions of the same book. During this time, she created brochures, booklets, ads, posters, newsletters, for various non-profits and local businesses.

In 2001, she started her own publishing company, RSBPress to publish The Savvy Woman's Guide to Owning a Home which has gone on to sell through four printings. A third edition is in the works.

Several small presses were so impressed with her design work, they asked her to design books for them. Several of her designs have won awards.
